VitD deficiency is so common in the UK that NHS advises taking supplements regularly in the winter months. VitD deficiency can lead to fatigue, low mood, muscle and bone aches as well as sleep disturbance. Long-term deficiency can contribute to osteoporosis, especially in women of menopausal age. We need a recent blood test that measures your Calcium and VitD levels (within the last 2 weeks) in order to calculate your dose to reach optimal VitD levels.
